@Cornwallis I should also say I have play tested mine only twice. So that’s why I say it may or may not be balanced. I mainly focused on historical accuracy for my first version.

I made a 1941 limited scenario for Classic; basically divides the map into 3 parts you can play separately, and runs fairly quickly. I can try and give you a quick rundown, or dig up & post the full rules if you’re interested.

@MacNaughton Yes. I have made up random WW1 Great Powers and related neutral territories all of which can be placed on a map of sea zones. In this way the map can change from game to game. This does take work to make the physical components. The game itself offers the parameters ( a statisitacal analysis of the map & PF values) to make up your own map.

Anyone want to be part of the first ever online league for the axis and allies variant game called superpowers?

Games are played online. Season will be 12 weeks long plus play-offs. You will be emailed when its your turn to act. players do not have to be online at the same time. This is going to be great!

I’m not sure if Avalon Hill is planning any additional A&A related games; however, there are several Expansion Set that you can get to enhance A&A from other companies.

I suggest getting “World at War” by Xeno Games (www.xenogames.com). This game rocks!

Also, I like using the “A&A Accessories” and “Central Powers” Miniatures Expansion sets from Table Tactics (www.tabletactics.com).

I especially, like to mix all three of these together … and with a few modifications of the rules (“House Rules”) – it doesn’t get any better!

Also, try visiting the Strafe Zone (www.andale.com/stores/sf_home.jsp?mode=1&sfUrl=strafezone) for some other goodies to spice up your A&A games – like Battle Cards!

Or try out Black Baron’s Expansion Set for A&A … found at
(www.thegameshop.ca/enonhoraaex.html).
