right on. It will all be second nature for you pretty soon. :)
Rock On
just so you know I thought the same thing the first time I saw it :)
Please update Your TripleA client ASAP
The old lobby and Marti servers will be shut down imminently. Unfortunately we have no precise time table. The time range i have been given is “tomorrow, or it’ll be a month from now. I’m guessing will be tomorrow at this rate.”
The download link can be found here:
https://triplea-game.org/download/
Any questions or concerns about what’s happening can be directed here:
https://forums.triplea-game.org/topic/4351/triplea-2026.06.16-release-schedule-plan
or here:
https://forums.triplea-game.org/topic/4353/urgent-communication-needed
You must also re-reregister for the new marti server here:
https://dice.triplea-game.org/
This as a major, required, and backward compatible release. It’s required so we can discontinue old resources that are costing the project a significant fraction of our total expenses.
Downgrading the lobby will save $10/month and removing old MARTI will be $25/month (in exchange for new MARTI that costs $5/month).
There’s no reason I can think of to not upgrade. Maybe worth mentioning that save games are expected to work well (but maps are looking to be a problem area and may need re-install).
(Text by @ubernaut - thank you!)
Addition:
Please note that the new dice server only allows two email addresses. Email addresses can no longer be space delimited. So in multiplayer games you need to decide who receives the mails per side.
Also the new dice server does not support a “Game Name” (game/topic-id) any longer.
To continue your older games load your savegame, hit “Play By Forum” and re-register your e-mail-addresses with the new dice server (if you had not done that before).
Dice mails will likely go to the spam-folder. But usually you can handle this easily in your mail-account.
@Panther I downloaded the new file and it went to my downloads folder, but I didn’t get any prompts to install so it’s just sitting there. How do I install?
The installation procedure has not changed. Assuming that you are on Windows and that the file you downloaded is
TripleA_2026-06.16.15640_windows-64bit.exe
you need to doubleklick the file and follow Windows installation procedure.

If my assumption is wrong, please indicate what you exactly downloaded and your OS.
Let me know if you run into further issues.
Good luck.
@Panther I’m using windows 11. I double click that file and it goes to my download folder as this
“unconfirmed 52054 (date and time) CRDOWNLOAD File 91,173kb”
I’m not getting any prompts to run the installer. Is there a way I can install manually?
@captainwalker This indicates that the download of the file was broken at a very early stage and thus incomplete.
The above describes the manual install.
I will list the steps for you (though you did all of this, it’s just an incomplete download):

You see how different the complete download looks compared to what you got.
@Panther the issue is the Microsoft Edge, which puts the file into quarantine until confirmed as safe by the user…
looks like this in the browsers download area:

until a user doesnt choose “keep” the file gets marked as “unconfirmed” and is not usuable in the file system
@Elrood Thanks for this important info - I use Chrome on Windows 11 and did not experience this.
For EDGE this is likely a temporary issue, I suppose.
@Panther Yes, I am seeing the same thing. On Edge the download needs to be verified safe. I went through the process of reporting it as safe.
@Elrood when you choose “keep” it just prompts you to report it as safe…and still won’t open after the report is made.
@Panther I downloaded new version of AAA. All good there. Registered for the new dice server and when I click on “confirm registration” from email it says “Invalid token or E-mail”. Tried dice in a game and it isn’t working.
@Panther It was Edge’s defender that was preventing it. I couldn’t find a way around it so I downloaded Chrome and it went right through. Everything is good now… thanks for all your help!
