  • @gamerman01 I am not comfortable selecting your losses for G5’s combat phase. As a summary of the situation so far:

    Germany did not roll tech.

    Germany built 2 transports and 7 infantry, with 2 IPCs left over

    Germany attacked the 2 British fighters in Persia with 2 fighters from Anglo-Egypt Sudan and 1 fighter from Eastern Europe. Both sides lost everything: Germany lost all 3 fighters and Britain lost all 2.

    Germany is attacking Ukraine with 25 infantry and 8 tanks (unresolved as of yet)

    Germany is attacking India, which has 2 British fighters and 1 British bomber, with 1 infantry and one bomber from Anglo-Egypt Sudan, along with a naval bombardment. The transport, battleship, and both subs from the sea zone north of Anglo-Egypt Sudan and west of Syria Jordan have all moved to the India sea zone. The naval bombardment scored a hit. These were all of Germany’s combat moves. Would you prefer to take the hit in a fighter or the bomber?


  • @gamerman01 I am extremely sorry: I neglected to mention one additional German combat move. The tank in South Africa moved up to take Italian East Africa, which was uncontested.


  • You should be able to save all that trouble by going file -> post PBEM/save whatever. Or, you can save the file File->Save and upload that to the game thread.

    Very interesting moves, I was completely blindsided. I’m lucky the British fighters hit.

  • @gamerman01 The dice server is down at the moment, but here are the J5 purchases and combat moves. It’s getting late, so I’m going to bed, and hopefully by morning the issues with the dice server will be resolved and I can take this move. I anticipate that Russia and the US will take losses in Sinkiang, which is now quite crowded. I suspect your loss choices will heavily depend on the losses I myself take, e.g. to AA fire, so this combat move might take a while even after the dice server is back up.


  • @gamerman01 And of course I immediately regret these moves before the dice are even thrown… I think I should have moved the Japanese fleet in the Atlantic north to the sea zone west of Spain and dumped the infantry into France. I’m hoping we can chat about it after the game is over? I think we’re pretty close to the end now barring some very lucky rolls for me.


  • It’s fine if you’d like to start the turn over, that doesn’t bother me at all.

    Everyone is having trouble after a forced? update to TripleA (this never happens) and a move from the dice server. That is, no one can roll dice using MARTI right now. I’m just hanging out until someone figures out what we need to do.

    I’m sure there will continue to be discussion on the problem until it’s solved, on the league discussion thread.

  • @gamerman01 Update, I am still unable to roll any dice with the new dice server. I registered and confirmed my proton email (the same one I used for the old dice server) at https://dice.triplea-game.org, but it still doesn’t seem to be connecting. I think you also need to register your email, and then confirm your registration via the automated confirmation email sent to your inbox – could you do that if you haven’t already?
