I posted my Russian move as it did not require any dice rolling. It seems however, we all need to re install the newest version of TripleA and re-sign up on the dice server.

I’m sorry to say, Dawg and his wife were in a bad car accident a week ago. He didn’t indicate that her life is in danger, but that his wife was worse off then he. Airbags did not deploy. 55 mph into a vehicle that did not stop.

@gamerman01 Was there ever a consensus about # of games to qualify for BM4 playoffs this year? i.e., drop from 6 to 3?

In recent year(s) I’ve decided that the exact number of games for Balanced Mod should be set mid-year when we have about 6 months of data.
Looking at results so far this year, the # of games qualifying for BM should be 3 for 2025.
I’ll change the league rules to say 3

There is also a new officially stable version available from the website. It is 2.7 framework.

And for anyone else checking this thread, unless you have the most current client the URL for registering dice is wrong. Register at https://dice.triplea-game.org/
NOT at dice.marti.triplea-game.org which is where the client and older links will take you

@Stucifer Reading that thread seems to indicate that we need to upgrade to latest version of triplea 2.7. I don’t see how to point to the new server using version 2.6. In fact, I don’t see how to change server address in any version of triplea play by forum.
However, I’m kinda puzzled, because it seems like version 2.6 does talk to the right server. I went to the new site to register myself and my opponent, but it did not work. Test just yields the notice dialog (attached) and hangs.

Can you confirm that we need to upgrade to 2.7? Or provide a method to update the dice server?

I upgraded to the latest version, now apparently called: 2026
Is this not the right one to be on, or is it OK?

@surfer Sorry, I once again lacked clarity in my statement. The newest version is 2026-06.16.15640 and is the new Stable release replacing 2.5.22294 which has been out for 6 years.
Previous builds before this Stable release they were calling it 2.7.15xxx.The newest version is what they are also switching over the Play Online lobbies to utilize, but I haven’t personally used a newer version than 2.7.15274 which had some bugs.
