    Round 4: Red moves AC with 2 Rattlers to 1VP island along with C.  Another C picks up trooper on 1VP island and returns to nearby hex( that is main base).  A Wolf unit boards the C.  
    

    Attack 8 Blue troopers on hex near their Main Base, from adjacent hex of 5 Wolf units and recon. Unit with a trooper in it. Also 2 Rattlers from AC and a heavy bomber and fighter bomber from 2 VP island join in the attack.

    The heavy bomber cannot activate Sleuth ability but goes ahead with the attack and fails to score a hit, while the fighter bomber does activate Sleuth ability and takes out a trooper( with no counterattack to it). Both aircraft fly back to 2VP island.

    Also both Rattlers attack along with 5 Wolf units and a manned recon. unit. All remaining Joes are taken out, all that remains of Red forces are two Wolf units with Rattlers landed in the taken hex.

    Meanwhile attacks from ice hex that connects to N. Greenland 1VP hex defended by 2 Blue Troopers, NATIVE Icelander trooper(attach to White forces), and, White fighter- bomber and three troopers. Red 3 troopers and 2 Wolf units attack. All Red units lost, with White Fighter-Bomber and native trooper and a Blue trooper is left. It is up to Black to take that hex.

    Moves a trooper from NP base and two more from nearby hex to ice hex.

    Builds 2 Wolf units & trooper for main base and trooper for NP base.

    Blue forces from Main Base attack adjacent hex that has Red two Wolf units and two Rattlers.  Forces attacking are 5 troopers, Snow Cat,  Jet, and Fighter-Bomber that still attacks( could not activate Sleuth ability).  All Red units wiped out for a lost of three troopers. 
    

    From Apogee Base AC with two Jets and C move out, the Jets attack Red’s 2 VP island defended by Wolf unit and F-B & Heavy Bomber. Jet returns to A.C.(the other Jet flies to reinforce White’s 1VP hex) and Wolf unit destroyed. On Greenland a trooper enter White’s 1VP hex to reinforce it.

    Builds 5 troopers for Main Base and 2 Snow Cats for Apogee Base.

    Black attacks White N. Greenland hex from an ice hex of Rattler & Wolf unit, another ice hex 3 troopers & 3 Wolf units, and, from 1VP island off North Pole of a Hover- Copter landing 2 Wolf units and a Rattler from same island. Defending are White Fighter-Bomber and Greenland trooper, and, Blue Jet and three troopers. Hex is taken for the lost of a trooper and Wolf units. Moves 3 troopers from NP base to ice hex.

    From ice hex that leads towards White Main Base, the 1VP hex is defended by White recon. Unit with trooper, 4 troopers, and, three Snow Cats. Black attacking with from ice hex, hover-copter, recon unit. with trooper, trooper & 2 Wolf units, and, two rattlers. Also C from below ice hex from 1 VP hex, lands 2 troopers on hex next to White Main Base(the Cruiser’s VTOL Jet attacks also). Along with fighter-bomber from same Black hex. Black uses special ability, wipes out all White forces. All that is left is landed on White 1 VP hex is Black fighter - bomber, hover copter, 2 Wolf units and a rattler.

    Moves from home base C with trooper and Wolf unit to ice hex. Builds 2 Wolf units and trooper for home base and NP base.

    White needs to restore no less it’s lost N.Greenland 1VP hex, but, has Enemy at its Main Base. Attacks coastal hex next to its Home Base with 7 troopers and a Jet. They attack Black 2 troopers and a C. All Black is lost and White losses are 2 troopers & Jet.

    From 1 VP hex mainland 2 C & 4 troopers attack Black 1VP island(2 hexes from White Main Base)defended by 2 Wolf units and a trooper. For a lost of 2 troopers the island is taken(C VTOl Jet did not need to battle).

    A trooper moves back into central Greenland hex from the n north and is joined by 4 troopers from Apogee Base. Numbers at five units so Black cannot use special ability. Also Heavy Bomber from said base, uses special ability and takes out a trooper at Black N. Greenland 1 VP hex. Builds 2 Snow Cats and a Cat & 3 troopers for Apogee and Main Base.

    Cobra has 9 VP and Joe has 6. If you go by official rules, Cobra won by 10 VP. But when the round ended White took a VP from Cobra and denied the win.

    Round 5:

    Red attacks Blue 1 VP N. Greenland hex defended by 3 troopers and 2 Snow Cats with 3 troopers and a Wolf unit from ice hex and NP base. Complete blowout all units destroyed, still it makes it easier for Black to take on its turn!

    From 2 VP island heavy bomber and fighter-bomber attack Blue Heavy C and AC with a jet. The bomber can make use of Sleuth ability, and, Blue Heavy C and Red fighter-bomber are lost.

    From main base a C with 2 troopers lands on 2 VP island where the heavy bomber landed. While 2 Wolf units leave main base going downwards to 1 VP hex, where 2 troopers have move onto from ice hex.

    Builds for main base a Rattler and 2 troopers, and, for NP base 2 troopers.

    Blue sends Fighter Bomber and a Snow Cat and for no lost from main base and nearby hex, takes out 2 troopers Red defending 1VP land hex. Also from same nearby hex, 2 troopers take over ice hex.

    AC with jet returns to main base, will not send 2 jets and 2 Snow Cats to reinforce Greenland N. 1 VP hex, as Black has 10 units to attack it on its turn.

    Builds for Apogee Base a C and Snow Cat and three troopers.


  • Black occupies N.Greenland Blue 1VP hex with 3 troopers, Wolf unit, and, a Rattler. Leaving on other 1 VP hex Rattler, 2 Wolf units, two troopers, and, a Hover- copter. Did not attack Apogee Base as the three Wolf units were two hexes away from Apogee. Also Apogee is heavily defended, at this time, as a trooper from NP base goes onto ice hex.

    Meanwhile a C lands a trooper and Wolf unit, hover- copter attacks and landed a Wolf unit, with a Rattler and Fighter- Bomber(no sleuth ability activated), attack White main base(defended by 3 Snow Cats and 2 White Troopers). Losses are heavy as even the C is taken as a lost, to let the land units take the base. All for naught, as only the Rattler and Heavy- Bomber survive the combat. The base is left undefended!

    Moves 2 Wolf units to join troopers on 1 VP hex, just before ice hex. Builds C and trooper at main base, and, three troopers NP base.

    White uses the 5 troopers above main base(which were never attack by Black, as they simply went around it, to attack White main base, on Black’s turn). They attack 1VP hex, where Black Fighter- Bomber and Rattler had landed, for a lost of two troopers, the hex is taken. A C returns to main base, while another with VTOL jet goes to coastline of Greenland.

    From Apogee Base 2 Snow Cats and 5 troopers( using special ability)attack Black 1 VP N.Greenland base, defended by Rattler, Hover-Copter, 3 Wolf units, and, 2 troopers. Also Heavy Bomber( no Sleuth ability) and VTOL jet join the attack. For a lost of 4 troopers the hex is taken. Builds 2 troopers and Snow Cat for Apogee base, and, 2 Snow Cats and trooper for main base.

    Cobra has 6 VP and Joe has 8 VP.

    Round Six: Round 6
    Red from main base rattler flies and lands on AC and two troopers go onto C that has also return to main base. From NP base 2 troopers go onto ice hex, and, from 2 VP island C takes 2 troopers to reinforce Black’s 1VP hex N. Greenland. Along with Fighter- Bomber landing there.

    Two Wolf units attack and for no lost destroys a Snow Cat on coastal 1VP hex. Builds C and two troopers main base. And one trooper for NP base. There will be a major battle when Blue tries to take its 1VP island tween the Red and Blue main bases.

    Blue sends three Snow Cats to reinforce White’s N. Greenland 1 VP hex, also from Apogee base C picks up 2 troopers from 1 VP island and returns to Apogee Base, Along with 2 troopers going by coastal hex, to join up with the three Snow Cats.

    Two troopers move onto ice hex heading for Red’s undefended1VP island, tween Red and Blue main bases.

    Blue builds 2 C and a Snow Cat for main base.


  • Black sends from ice hex a trooper to its 1VP N. Greenland hex, while from NP base 3 troopers move onto ice hex. From 1VP hex a trooper and 2 Wolf units move onto ice hex. Also from main base a C drops off a trooper onto same ice hex.

    Builds for main base a Rattler and a trooper & Wolf unit for NP base.

    White lands from main base a trooper and Snow Cat onto ice hex, with 3 additional troopers attacking from 1 VP hex, that touches the ice hex. The hex is defended by Black 2 troopers and 2 Wolf units. All Black units are lost, White loses 3 troopers and a Snow Cat. C off Greenland picks up 2 troopers on 1 VP island off NP base.

    From Apogee base 2 troopers(using special ability) & Snow Cat reinforce N. Greenland 1 VP hex, along with VTOL jet from nearby C. From Apogee Base Heavy Bomber, fails to use Sleuth ability, uses BlockBuster bomb, and, sinks Red C off Black 1VP N. Greenland hex(the bomber is lost also).

    Builds for Apogee Base 4 Snow Cats and 2 troopers.

    Both sides are tied each at 7VP!


  • Round 7:

    Red moves C and lands 2 troopers with 2 Wolf units attacking from 1VP land hex, against 2 Blue troopers on ice hex. Hex taken for lost of one trooper. Also Heavy Bomber attacks, using Sleuth ability, from Black’s 1VP N. Greenland hex, and, takes out a C(with BlockBuster bomb)at Blue Main Base. Flies back to 2VP island, along with a Rattler from a AC landing there too.

    From NP base, a trooper goes onto ice hex. Builds Rattler & trooper and Wolf unit for main & NP base.


  • Blue sends a C and lands 2 troopers on coastal hex, below Blacks’ N. Greenland 1VP hex. Two more troopers arrive at White’s N. Greenland 1 VP hex. From same hex, three Snow Cats attack Black hex, versus 5 troopers, wolf unit, and, Rattler. All lost, but, 2 troopers taken out.

    Meanwhile with only one available C, they can only land at Red 2 or 1 VP island. They land on the 2 pt. Island, defended by Heavy Bomber and a jet. The island is taken for a lost of a trooper and a C( latter chosen cause a C could not claim the hex).

    Also from main base, a AC with two jets and a fighter-bomber, attack a AC and a C at the 1VP Red island hex… All lost but a Blue jet and fighter-bomber that returns to main base.

    Builds a Jet and 2 Snow Cats for Apogee Base.


  • Black is in a quandary problem, it needs to recover 2VP to just be even with Joe. The most they can do, is get one VP, or, hunker down and make it hard for Joe to pick up any more VP. A rattler flies from a 1VP hex, next to the ice hex, , and takes out a White trooper(who can use special ability and take over a undefended hex). The Rattler is lost, but, the trooper is taken out, thus the 1VP hex is saved. Also C heads back to Black main base.

    Moves 3 troopers to Black N.Greenland hex, from ice hex. Also one trooper from NP base to ice hex. Builds 4 & 3 troopers for NP and main base.


  • White C lands 2 troopers on he next to NP base, while another C returns to home base. From Apogee Base 2 troopers,&, 4 Snow Cats, &, VTOL Jet from N. Greenland hex, attack Black 1 VP N. Greenland hex. All White units are lost, but, 5 Black troopers are taken out. Now some forces from nearby White 1VP N. Greenland hex, attack. Two troopers & 2 Snow Cats take out the remaining Black trooper, Wolf unit, and, Rattler(for a lost of a troop

    The remaining unused forces of White 4 troopers and Snow Cat attack ice hex defended by 1 Black and 4 Red troopers. The ice hex taken, but, only a Snow Cat survive. White builds 5 troopers & 2 Snow Cats and 3 troopers for main base.

    No use of either side using the “Sour Grapes” Missiles.

    Joe Wins!

    End of Round 7, Cobra has 5 VP & Joe has 10. No forces have a AC, 3 C and 2 C for Joe and Cobra, 8 Snow Cat and 2 Wolf units left, 2 Jets and Fighter-Bomber and VTOL Jet for Joe, 19 troopers and 10 troopers left for Joe and Cobra.IMG_4410.jpeg


  • Next and last scenario, the winner is decided by who controls Northern Greenland. Going back to The Great War, I’m going to let both sides Joe & Cobra buildup forces , and, attack and defend for only the last three rounds.

    One last great push to take those Northern Hexes and win the game!
