Rommel's Last Push - DoMan (Axsi) vs TGC (Allies)

  • @DoManMacgee G1 start.tsvg pre game RP for each convoy zone spent! Let fly at your convenience.

  • 2026 25

Is this version 1.5 you are using? You can check by looking at the game notes.

  • @VictoryFirst its version 1.5, yep!

  • @The_Good_Captain OK let’s see if I’m doing this right:

    Battle @ Mersa Brega:

    ab69933b-ebcb-4745-892c-c1d57d342edd-image.png

1.) I choose not to destroy your supply.
2.) Before combat begins, you get to decide whether to stand and fight or retreat.
3.) The order of battle is:
a.) Scout, Mech, Art, AT - All from El Aghelia direction (no reroll)
b.) 2 Tank - All from Zella direction (flank attack, rerolls 9s and 10s)
    c.) INF/ART/TANK/TRUCK w/ 5 supply - Defenders
d.) El Aghelia has 5 supply for attackers and both Zella and El Aghelia can draw supply from it as it is one space away.

    Does that all sound correct?

  • @DoManMacgee yes and I will return fire using a supply from Mersa Brega. You can just make all your rolls here on the forum. For the flankers we typically use 1d8 to avoid the reroll

  • @The_Good_Captain 1d7, not 1d8 😀 All 8s, 9s and 10s are rerolled when flanking. If you roll 1d8, you can roll an 8 which has to be rerolled

Thanks! I had “1d7” typed up and 2nd guessed myself. Thank ya sir.

go for 1d7 - those flankers cut deep

  • @The_Good_Captain OK.

    • I will NOT use the scout car’s ability to destroy a supply.

    • Germany draws 2 supply from El Aghelia to make the attack (1 for El Aghelia, 1 for Zella)

    • Attack Roll:
      1@2 (scout car) [dice 1d10]
      3@3 (AA, boosted-Mech, ART) [dice 3d10]
      2@5 (Tanks, flanking) [dice 2d7]

    • Defense Roll:
      2@3 (INF, ART) [dice 2d10]
      1@5 (TANK) [dice 1d10]

  • 1d10: 5
    3d10: 4, 3, 9
    2d7: 1, 3
    2d10: 4, 9
    1d10: 2

  • @The_Good_Captain Ultimately, attackers got 3 hits, defenders got 1, so it’s a wipe.

In Malta, I did use the bomber’s ability to destroy 1 British Supply Token. The other Bomber went on air patrol in SZ13.

Also; as a friendly reminder to both of us (mostly me since you’ve been actively logging games), there is a piece limit hard-enforced for Air and Naval units, as well as supply tokens and mines (both types, although Axis and Allied naval mines are drawn from faction-specific pools whereas normal mine are from a general pool). Land units, for whatever reason, are unaffected.

  • @DoManMacgee Two comments. When rolling dice, you specified the @ before the actual dice roll. You can actually specify this inside the dice roll:

So your first Attack roll: 1@2 (scout car) [dice 1d10} could have been written like this
    [dice 1d10<=2]
And it automatically tells you how many hits are scored. Might be more clear depending on your preference 😀

Your understanding of the piece limits is mostly correct, but the limit for supply is not hard-enforced. With the air/naval units, the game will actually prevent you from buying excess units, but in case of supply, it does allow you to exceed this limit, but it will show a warning at the end of every phase that there is too many supply. You then have to correct this yourself as the player. The warning message will not show anymore when it has been corrected. Same with the sea mines. The land mines have a hard-enforced piece limit of 40 mines, and a weaker enforced stack limit of 20 mines (same type of warning as the supply). Also, all land units have a stack limit with a warning of the same type as the supply.
