@VictoryFirst I should have restated slightly.

No, this is not the worst opener I’ve had. Ragnell and I played many games where stuff like this happened as a matter of course. I’ve gotten very, very used to playing this game from the submissive position right at the start like this.

That being said, from late 2024 through 2025 and even today this seems to be a normally recurring phenomenon. I even reached out to you about it once. I’m not superstitious, but even Ragnell has asked/recommended I change my email in hopes that our games will be more interesting. There are very rare exceptions to my/our/this experience: the gamerman game is an example.

In any case, I’m going to change emails even though I don’t think it will fix anything. It can’t hurt.
