I don’t know if memes are allowed but I’ve done this by accident a few times and it is devastating. Had to make this meme to mitigate my sorrow.

@PGsquig I don’t recall exactly why, but I found a reason to actually do it on purpose. The land wasn’t safe and I needed the air power to project east.

Axis & Allies 1942 Online on iOS will now use Minimal High Quality Sprites by default: only unit icon sprites will be used on the game & combat boards. The setting (which players can find & tweak to their liking in Graphics -> Image Content And Resolution) will hopefully mitigate black screens and constant reloading. The Use Minimal Resources setting will also cause no animations and unit icon sprites only, but at a lower resolution than default

@Ichabod Look again. There are two views: the zoomed out view and the zoomed in view.

The zoomed out view has the chits and the zoomed in view has the 3D pieces.

@taamvan Whoops. I was at work when this was all going down. Sorry I missed the boat.

Agree with Black_Elk though. I’ve been playing all my games on a PBEM-basis. I just don’t have 3-4 continuous hours of free time to sit down and play out a full game live these days. Best I can manage is like 1-3 moves (countries, not full rounds) per game I’m in a day.
