I was surprised to see that building new factories was turned off, and I switched it to enable building new industrial complexes. The total number of factories is limited, but we can still buy and place four of them in total, right? Sorry if I missed a related post. Have a great weekend everyone!

yep, that all sounds right. the module won’t let you place more than four now

@Martin building only four is in accordance with the rules. you could never build more than four. @VictoryFirst has updated the Classic module to be more in accordance with the proper rules of the game.

@dawgoneit Sorry guys, during the week I have been working 10-13 hour days and don’t have the time to figure out the email version of the game. I will when I hire and train more staff but for the next month at least I am going to be crazy busy.

Your decision whether to play or not right now does not affect anyone. Not a problem to give dawg a bye, but in the coming weeks we’ll be seeing how many of the other matches are getting done.
I encourage you to keep the door open. Winner between you two plays @amnykon who has a bye.
If dawg gets a bye, then it’s him vs amnykon. Winner of that will be waiting awhile most likely.
That means no need to forfeit your spot any time soon. Let some weeks or a month pass, then see. No one is gaining from your bowing out, not right now anyway.

@hiijohnson is making an effort to get back in but says it might be just a bit longer
I can’t get ahold of @amnykon
I’m going to formally request that we modify the tournament in such a way that @superior is removed completely and @hiijohnson @amnykon please let us know if you intend to continue with the tournament or can we drop you and see you next year? Sorry to do this but this is too many folks on the roster but not playing.
I’d appreciate hearing from you in the next 72 hours if possible, thanks! If we don’t hear from them I move that @victoryfirst and @gamerman01 modify the tournament to keep things moving.

Of course, life can change after signing up for an A&A tournament. Nobody can control that. But people should at least have the courtesy to say they cannot play. Ragnell showed how it should be done by giving an early heads-up.
What is extremely frustrating is when players just silently vanish after enrolling, whether here or in league play. That kind of behavior wastes other people’s time and creates unnecessary problems for organizers. In my view, repeat no-shows should seriously be considered for exclusion from next year’s tournament.

For the slots those 2 are in, changing it to a bye doesn’t really cause a problem. What I would call a problem, is someone getting 2 or more byes in a row.

@dawgoneit yeah - sorry that is mainly my fault. I hired another attorney and am training a sales guy so I will have time moving forward. I just need to figure out how to play by email.
