due to the massive amount of G40 HRE games we currently play

@ampdrive oztea does that in his 41 setup. I’m trying to balance g40 in this mod. Of course turn order would assume all of that has already taken place
@crockett36 I really do respect Captains position that extensive playtesting is needed before widespread adoption of new ideas.I often like the concept of throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks. Here are a few things about OOB set up that bug me.
1 France falls too easily.Germany should have to use luftwaffe to be certain of taking paris G1
2 Japan is too strong.21 starting aircraft is overwhelming.UK battleship starting in sz 37 is suppoed to represent the 2 ships Japan sunk there dec41,but of course,we are supposed to be starting 1940.J1 attack is too powerful OOB.
3 Like I mentioned, after invasion of norway Germanys battleships were damaged. No operational Bismark and Tirpitz until 41.
4 Agree that red amy was determined, tough and tenasious defending russia. However,as demonstated against Finland earlier in the war, they were horrible when attacking outside their borders.I say this because I don’t think the red army could easily take over eastern europe had an invasion of UK succeeded.
5 Like in other versions of A&A,I think it should be easier(less szs across the arctic or NB in scotland)to transport units to northern russia.
Well thats enough for now.
My other gripe is that the UK is far too weak, and as a result, the decision to effectively have them split into 3 factions seems like a huge mistake.
@Imperious-Leader France goes first changes much of that. The UK & Russia can hold their own. US can devote 90 percent to Pacific give or take 10 percent.
I’m going to do a youtube video on some of these complaints. I have voiced them in the past, these criticisms. There are very effective in game solutions that are rarely used. Fixes that are in the LH canon, though not in the regular g40 rules.
@ampdrive said in Advice to Renegade! What is on your top 10 for adjustments to G40 3rd edition?:
@The-Janus They could take out the Italian bomber.
And reduce the factory to a minor.

This is a screen shot of France Goes First. moved the cruiser in 110 to 112. The ships in 93 attacked 96, freeing up British ships for other things. This battle is 7.5 percent chance of success. Germany needs the air to win. No battleship attacking 110 or 111.
@crockett36 The Japanese setup is definitely Nov 41.
@crockett36 I hope to find your youtube video.
Doesn’t take you to his latest but should at least start having em pop up. or it did for me :)
