well just a FYI but Krieghound wrote the rulebook so there is no higher authority :)
Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion
-
@The-Captain Hello, do you have an updated Timetable chart to help keep track of when all these new Optional Rules (self propelled artillery, Desert Army, etc…) come into play?
-
Here below, we have attached the most recent Timetable which is the one that we use during Tournaments - like the Wiking-Con events etc.
So far, players must manually keep track of the extra Optional Rules that are not represented at the Timetable.
Note:
The Naval Commander rule is still not available, since play testing has not ended yet. -
@The-Captain Thank you! I’m surprised you removed Rockets from the chart. We’re starting a game Saturday with ALL of the optional rules (except Bidding & 1939) - it should be fun!
-
The Tournament Rules are carefully selected from the entire G40 HRE. Since a Tournament put more stress on players - even though players still have Fun & Challenge - we needed to reduce the number of Expansion Rules to make each game more managable.
I trust that your game will be fun & challenging on a massive scale with all Optional Rules.
We truly look forward to your Game Report.

The latest G40 Expansion units has been added at pg. 1 in this thread:
Self-propelled Anti Aircraft Artillery and Waffen-SS Self-propelled Anti Aircraft Artillery
These units are part of the G40 HRE Tournament Rules.

Hi Captain
JPN has 2 NMs in 26 SZ defending against 25 SZ. Vessels from 26 SZ can then move into 25 SZ without rolling for the NMs ?
Correct ? Or is 26 and 25 now mined in both directions ?
Thanks
Edit
Just being stupid. The NMs are defending in 26 at 25 which means that any ship going to 25 from 26 must cross them
-
Seems like you answered your own question correctly :-)
Naval Mines operate with the same game mechanisms as Land Mines with a few exceptions.
-
Hi
I can’t find your scoring system. I know I’ve seen it lol
3 for a win 1 for a draw or 2 if you aren’t as experienced as your opponent ? Something like that :)

@The-Captain Question - If Combat Engineers use rail movement can they still use their special abilities such as making a landing strip?
-
- Landing Strip Construction:
During the Non-Combat Movement phase a Combat Engineer unit that did not yet move or perform any other task in this turn, can move into a newly captured territory – and construct a Landing Strip.
You cannot move by Strategic Rail Movement into (or through) a newly captured territory…
So the answer is: No…

@The-Captain Gotcha - thanks

We have attached some new pdf files to the first post at pg. 1.
These files are very useful during the entire game and should be represented at the sideline of the game board.
The newly attached files are:
- G40, Starting point & Advanced Production Capacity
- Timetable, Tournament
- Tournament Rules
