OK I’ll give it a try. I still don’t know who gets to bombard besides the BB. I gather that there are many versions of these games and some allow cruisers to bombard. Some versions even allow things like Jaanese destroyers to carry and land troops!
Anyway I guess I have to pause my attacks to see how you like your scrambled eggs…

@mike64 I see only 1 fighter in the Philippines that could do that right? The UK fighter in Burma cannot?

No scramble Philippines. Cruiser bombards at 3. Fighter Philippines could scramble because of airport. No airport Burma so no scramble. Also this version only scrambles to sea.

@mike64 Hey Mike, so as I told you on the phone I often hear about guys doing the Sea Lion thing right off. And I sort of feel that is gimmicky.
Then again, I would sort of like to see it too because when I play the UK surely some axis players will try that right?
So before I take German 2 I am wondering how you think about this. Seems like we did a pretty standard opening move for both sides but it seems to me that German could buy 9 transports and then invade UK next turn.
What am I missing? Anyway, it’s not support Important. I am just trying to make sense of this amazing game…

go ahead and do the sea lion if you want. I debated not buying the factory in egypt on B1and putting four more inf in UK. the fact that I do a 100% KJF on US1 makes sea lion more effective.

OK I wil proceed with a barborssa type thing and try to factor in Italy.
So does Italy revert to German control in this game? I saw that somewhere…
