@farmboy I concede. I can’t really defend anything at this point. I can continue until the German turn if you want to conduct the fight of the united armies. But I don’t see how I can make it much worse than a 70-30 battle for you–and more important, if I do, I lose everything else.

@surfer I’d certainly be curious about that battle. But I probably wouldn’t take that battle yet either. To get the 30% odds you have to pull back all the air from Iraq and I think that forces you to retreat from there so i get closer to Egypt. I think you can probably do better than 30% if you set up a blocker for some of my fast movers further east. But I think each turn my odds should improve a little and I would just wait until victory was more guaranteed in n Italy just because I can bring in 23+units a turn. So I expect I would eventually get the win that way. But of course you have enough on the board that you might still be able to capitalize on a major mistake or dicing
@surfer I’ll just add that I’m happy to keep playing but I’m cautious enough that I’m not going to rely on 70% odds, so we would have to play it out longer to see that kind of battle
@farmboy I wouldn’t engage in the battle in your position either. You have income and time on your side. And then add to the fact that I can’t really make advances and will be pushed from the Middle East territory by territory, I see no point in continuing.
