Don't always trust TripleA when it comes to rules questions. Know the rules before you start … and better check what TripleA has done.

@SMichael23 Its not a solution if you magically give Italy this territory. If you want to model a problem, first get the facts straight with some research, then go into balancing it.

Aside from 1 ipc and 1 infantry, just increase Italy +1 and balance out the additional forces for both sides…

China is a road apple and a basket case. Japan needs to get thru that mess asap or they have no chance… If you hold back an already weak Japan in 42.2 you create a KJF scenario in every game.

Add italy fine, leave china alone and move the German air force out of UKR, give a bomber to Russia. Minor tweeks, then playtest

mostly good ideas, i would add axis minor allies with substitutions

@GGleize ok but adding 12 ipc to allies especially Russia isn’t the same as just moving a German bomber. Germans can use a bomber admittedly, but a Russian bomber is alot more needed than saving the German bomber imo. Minimally, you need to move both German UKR planes away .

It totally imbalanced toward allies… If you play OOB ( not LHGC version) this would track toward allied advantage. To balance you start with LHGC, and move existing units around for both sides, not just add 20 IPC to allies.

@all - We are looking to release 1.8.0.9 shortly due to the naval retreat bug that was found and fixed. I’ve uploaded the pre-release equivalent of that and would appreciate some assistance testing various maps, game types, etc to make sure there aren’t any issues. Here is the change log:
Bug fix, retreat from naval combat was not possible, now fixed Increase scroll speed when using arrow keys. Holding down control speeds up arrow key scroll Map edge scroll zone now larger, placing map next to the very edge of the map increases scroll speed even more AI: Fixed calculating defenses on maps with air/naval bases to properly calculate enemy range AI: Fixed bug around not defending against enemy units that were transported the previous turn (they were being marked as already transported when potential enemy attacks were calculated)

manual dice = use edit mode while rolling them. for some things, like combat, i think it lets you pick the dice or pick whatever casualties you want. for other dice rolls, it won’t do anything.

ai speed = change the ‘ai pause duration’ to be really high. if you are using dynamix ai, you can pause the ai at any point in the special dynamix ai menu.
