I think its usually best not to assume unless the number of escorts match or exceed the number of potential interceptors, just so the subsequent AA or bombing rolls can’t be impacted. But again, I wasn’t going to do it here so you amde the right call.

I know what you mean. I figured that given that the odds on a TUV basis didn’t justify and also that you needed a double hit to undo rolled dice, I felt that the assumption was justified.
