I think you are right that this won’t end soon, that I am more likely to eventually prevail but there will be lots of chances for you to turn it around. I’m the one that needs the game for the playoffs and I doubt one loss will be that dramatic on my elo.

And perfectly reasonable to want to end it now rather than spend time playing that could be spent with family. My thinking was maybe with a couple of more turns an outcome will be more clear but we can agree to stop here. And if no tie, it seems like we are both amenable to conceding

i started following this game with interest very recently, and i think it deserves a real and unnecessarily rushed conclusion. it’s exciting to see a new contender emerge in the small and shrinking competitive circles, so let’s not stifle that in any way. i think farmboy should be allowed entry into the playoffs given his status as the current champ and that he’s been faithful in trying to meet the minimum game requirement even though that is no longer reasonable given the drastic drop in bm popularity for various reasons (another topic) and i’m confident there will be zero objection from the rest of the league on that slight bending of the rule.

And even if the game ends for league purposes now, Surfer and I have the option of playing it out to see what would happen. .
And @surfer, I missed a sentence in my last message. I was just saying if you weren’t ready to concede (which I think is reasonable) I cna do it as I’m the one that needs the game for the playoffs.

We could even make an exception to where the game doesn’t have to be called at all, win, lose, or draw, if you’re really needed in the BM playoffs, if everyone wants you, and you’re already at 5But you are such an important presence for that playoff, that if no one is opposed then we would bend the rules
Case by case basis, I don’t like to make exceptions but this is an exception all things considered. Surfer qualified anyway, exception will be made to include farmboy,
