Been quite busy with holidays and other events. Wrapped up all my other games so haven’t been on much! Im going to be quite limited the next few months and want to do the PTV championship . Let’s put a pin in it. I enjoy the setup it feels quite well balanced. I like that there are ways for Italy to protect its fleet and stay relevant, the extra territories make it feel a bit more like global. I like what you’ve done with the split islands a lot too. That’s my favorite thing in PtV. -
I’d say scrambling in general is the one thing I think should be made universal somehow but then also needs to increase cost (and maybe nerf combat stats?) of fighters to compensate. I remember a thread from years ago where you had made fighters a 2A/3D C8 unit so I know you’ve probably had some testing with changing them around. Building stacks of planes in global variants is just too powerful and easy IMO

@Stucifer Yeah, scrambling is fun! I wanted to minimize the rules changes for this particular map – see how far I can get with just new territories and new sea zones. I agree that in general everywhere should be able to scramble.
I’ve had fun with A2/D3/C8 planes on other maps (which I originally stole from World at War), but once I start tweaking the fighter stats I want to tweak all the other stats and pretty soon it’s a totally new unit roster. If you give a mouse a cookie…
