After consulting with 3 historians, several play testers, and completing new prints and pieces.
The 12.1 Version is ready to go!!!.. My wife and I will be demonstrating this new game at the
TULSA GAMING CONVENTION in February 2026. This should be the final version of the game…
I will make the map, rulebook, and piece .stl files available for free download at the convention.
Here are photos to drool over…Charles Fontaine - Designer.

Okay, I assume you posted this for feedback. I would not be interested in this map at all.
One, the pieces are way too large in comparison to the territory spaces. In many cases one unit takes up the entire territory.
Two, even though the map appears to be very large, (what… 4 Costco tables… is that 12x10 feet?) the actual combat areas are way too small. There is not a single combat unit in all of Europe!!!
Three, because of this the map has a huge amount of blow up boxes on the sides where all the units are. I dislike this approach very much; I don’t like blow up boxes, I want to see the units on the map itself. I can’t imagine trying to play a game where I have to constantly refer to the blow up boxes to figure out exactly what units are truly in an area.
My advice, kill the blow up boxes, make the actual territories larger and shrink the unit size. Good Luck.

@AndrewAAGamer Dear Sir… Yes the Map is 6 feet by 10 feet. The purpose of the map design is to make it both geographical as well as politically correct for 31 Aug - 1939… In the 28 years and 12 version of this game I have crafted… and roughly 400 play test games… you are the first to suggest to get rid of the blow up boxes… and I would if I could keep the ratio the same… The blow-up boxes are not that large in comparison to the total map… As for the pieces, I totally re-designed them for this version and reprinted all 4000 pieces on my 3-d printer… While some of the pieces did not change in size -but in more detail… none were made bigger… all but 1 of the ship designs were made slightly shorter and thinner… but I really appreciate your insight for my game… If youre in the Tulsa, OK area near the end of February of 2026… come to the game con and see it for yourself… Also if you like send me an email at cefjr1961@gmail.com and I will send you .pdf files for both the map and rules…
Sincerely;Charles Fontaine

_The Conflict is a global-strategy based game designed around the economic and military conditions of Europe in 1914. Players play in one of two alliances, The Central Powers or The Allied Powers, to defeat their opponents. Players choose among seven nations (Austria-Hungary, Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy, Ottoman Empire, and Russia). After selecting a nation, players take turns completing their objectives during each round.
The Conflict has been extensively tested and designed by gamers for gamers. Players will take their turn each round to strengthen their tactical advantages and defend the borders of their nation. Each turn is broken down into Phases. Players must complete each previous phase in order to proceed onward with the rest of their turn. If a player decides to enter into combat with another player, they must, along with their opponent, roll a set number of D12 dice to determine the outcome of each individual battle. The Conflict uniquely deducts a combat penalty from the player with the weakest military strength in a territory. This combat penalty is taken off all of their dice rolls during the individual combat. The combat penalty allows for the strongest opponent to have a real-world advantage over their enemy, if they have a larger military presence in the area. Players can develop multiple (land, naval, and air) strategies to succeed. They can utilize 11 military units with unique capabilities to complete specific goals, upgrade technology, play one of three victory scenarios, as well as try a variety of player preferences.
