Are you clicking “Start Local Game”? You should be clicking “Play by Forum”. If you use “Start Local Game”, it bypasses MARTI.
@simon33 explains why i wasn’t getting dice rolls i guess but i’m not getting any prompt to start local game nor play by forum, it opens the game in game with the purchase screen. If i leave game then i have to re-enter all play by forum and dice details.

Ah that seems to be an ill advised change in triple-A. You now need to open Triple-A and then click open save game. You can’t double click on the save.
