I’ll leave it here. Should be enough to show how a game could play out. The challenge with the Allies - especially the US - is to keep a steady supply of supply and forces flowing to the front. Easier said than done, though. Gets really hard as the Allies drive further east. The job of the Germans here is the same as that of the French in the 1940 scenario: delay the Allied advance and wait until the Allies have overextended themselves and are short on supply, then hit. Preferably before the Operation Dragoon Allied armies show up on the south east of the board. While doing all this, slowly start to build and man up the Siegfried Line to provide a strong defensive barrier. Because by the time the Allies get to the German frontier, they are very strong.

Where is the deluxe set available? It does not look like it’s on combat miniatures -
@barnee Hello Barnee! Good to hear from you! :)
The issue I have is if i’m going to spend that much money there should be miniatures, chips and all the other stuff it requires that do not come with it. It’s basically just a board with rules in a box. No offence but I would rather spend my money elsewhere. If it was 50 or so I would consider. @jim010 What is the deluxe? Tell me more about that. So what extra stuff does it have? I have everything needed I believe expect Battle of the Bulge. Where did you get your pieces?
I will say speaking of France, do you know where I could get a custom ww2 France set for Global? And how much if you know…
Is there a way this can get on triple a? I would love to see that happen. @barnee You’ve done that stuff before right?

Here is a look at the rules for the terrain in the game. It usually benefits the defender, and in some cases inhibits the attacker. The effects of terrain are cumulative. So if you are defending behind a river, and are in a fortress in a forest, you get the defensive bonuses for all those features unless otherwise stated.
On page 7 you can see the role that supply has in the game. The supply management in the game is similar to AA Battle of the Bulge.
