Global 1942 (Larry Harris version): SuperbattleshipYamato (Allies) vs FranceNeedsMorePower (Axis)

@SuperbattleshipYamato Ok so I feel bad and this battle was very unlucky so I assume we should redo. OhNO.tsvg
-
By yes, I meant I built an air base in Gibraltar, not yes to scrambling (don’t scramble).
-
@SuperbattleshipYamato Oh. Oh I will re do the stuff. Also I meant to buy an airbase in greece not a naval base not the first time I mixed those up, can I edit that.
-
You can do that.
-
@SuperbattleshipYamato Your Turn Is Up
-
-
Actually, I changed my ANZAC turn. This is the correct file:
-
Net Allies dice swing: +3.36 swing
Net Axis dice swing: -3.36 swingThe dice are a bit imbalanced, but not game-deciding.
-
Sorry, I slightly changed ANZAC moves again:
-
@SuperbattleshipYamato I know the game favors the Allies but I hope I can be a worthy Axis opponent. That one move where I lost my two transports jacked me up. I’m trying to figure out how to recover from that loss.TheDiceMatter.tsvg

-
Net Allies dice swing: +3.74 swing
Net Axis dice swing: -3.74 swing -

I forgot to move my US fighter to Iceland. WIll you let me do that retroactively? Or would that have changed the German turn and I shouldn’t? Thank you!
-
@SuperbattleshipYamato No that move would not have changed my turn. Please, go ahead and use edit mode for that.
-
Thank you!

I didn’t think the Axis could be so challenging in 1942. I guess the game’s less imbalanced than I thought.
-
@SuperbattleshipYamato Yeah I’m not sure how long ago but people realized the game is not that imbalanced. It’s a bit more balanced then Global 40 But favors the Allies. Personally I feel people hated on it because it has a few historical flaws. But the game is not supposed to be a G42 setup. It’s supposed to be a Global game based off of the 1942 SE game. If that makes sense. That’s what Larry said at least. Now this is my first time playing the Axis so just imagine that the game is way more balanced with a player actually good as the Axis.
-
-
That makes sense.
I just think this way because the first two times I played this game I found the Axis at a huge disadvantage with almost no plausible way to win.
Your play is making me rethink that.
