This was decisive for the Red Army advance into Balkan. If the romanian Army had dug in behind the fortified Carpathian-Danube line, Red Army would never have liberated Balkan. This also cut off the oil supply to Germany.

Adolf now admit the war is lost.

Up north, Mannerheim has to sort out his deal with Stalin.
First, Risto Ryti get 10 years in jail.
