Ion Antonescu, who play Romania, suggest for Adolf to withdraw to the fortified Carpathian-Danube line. This will stop the Red Army. Adolf deny and insist on defending the plains in Bessarabia. A fatal mistake that may cost him the game.

General Emil Bodnogas, a sovjet agent, arrange the coup.
First, the current player, Ion Antonescu, is arrested and sent to Moscow.
King Michael I become the new romanian player.

-5 Inf (Rom) join the Allies

This was decisive for the Red Army advance into Balkan. If the romanian Army had dug in behind the fortified Carpathian-Danube line, Red Army would never have liberated Balkan. This also cut off the oil supply to Germany.

Adolf now admit the war is lost.

Up north, Mannerheim has to sort out his deal with Stalin.
First, Risto Ryti get 10 years in jail.
4 Inf (FIN) is removed from the map, but 1 Inf stay to fight the germans. Contestet territory
