There indeed is no ‘Changer_small.gif’ file inside the flags directory.
The correct file would be 'Changer_small.png" - that is included.Don't always trust TripleA when it comes to rules questions. Know the rules before you start … and better check what TripleA has done.

You should both delete the map and reinstall it. Delete the old save as well, as it is corrupted and will never work.
Start another game and save it. See if it works.

If you’re using Mac:
Open Finder, go to the folder “DownloadedMaps”. There should be a bunch of folders for different maps for TripleA. Probably just delete all the ones labelled “world_war_i_1914” (I have several).

Specifically, all 1914 games (not just maps)?

@SuperbattleshipYamato Only 1914 games that are using the improved version. If it is a different 1914 game like the first version on triple a don’t delete that only anything related to 1914 improved.

Open your triplea Folder
Open downloadedMaps
It should be there. If not, download from triplea.
Download the Map by hitting Install
Go back to downloadedMaps and it should be there

@barnee I have the improved game in the folder now but when I open triple a I have no games now. Do I need the entire Triple A Software folder somewhere specific?

@barnee Also I tested and downloaded another random game on the actual software and it worked. But the download file games are all gone on the software/game.

We already talked about the one. The other one is where the Triplea Engine is located. The big T Triplea folder.
I have 14962 and 1530 in mine.
You should have uninstalled only the one map, not all of them. Well, you will have to re DL the old ones unless you can dig it out of trash.
Two ways to uninstall a map. Fire up triplea. Go to DownLoad Maps and hit Installed.
This will list all the maps you have. Click on the one(s) you want to uninstall and hit Remove.
The other way is to open up your downloadedMaps folder, discussed above, and physically delete the map(s)

@barnee I give up I tried re downloading it and lost both folders. I have no idea what is wrong with it.

Don’t give up. Take a break if need be. It can be frustrating.
Probably best just to start with downloading triplea from the begininng.
Explain step by step what you’re doing and where you get stuck.
We’ll get it sorted :)
