@crockett36 Seconded, G42 is the official GenCon tournament version.
I have been practicing quite a bit for BGN’s Battlefront Dayton this November, and the time limit using a tournament format really changes the game.

@AndrewAAGamer LH came up with a 42 set up. It is the version of G40 that is played as a tournament at Gencon, Smorey Swamp. Very unique. Worth a look.

@AndrewAAGamer Global 1942, there is an official Larry Harris version which is included in the Global map pack download.
Major differences in board setup since it (vaguely) resembles a later point in time, and the Turn Order is different -

@everyone Hello hope everyone is well. I would like to let those of you I am in games with currently know that I am leaving for 3 weeks to Europe. I will try my best to play turns as frequently as I can, but no promises. I will for sure do one turn in each game tomorrow morning as I’m in the airport.
Additionally, if anyone has been to Dublin, Paris, or London and has anything they think I should do there PLEASE let me know as I am in each city for a week and I still have a few free days with nothing planned. Thank you all!! -

Leaning toward a mini-tournament.
8 players makes a 2 round tournament, 16 makes a 3 round. We can fit in the odd numbers if necessary, like a 3 man Allied team or 2 or somethingG40 OOB

Play Axis and Allies the way it was meant? to be played. WITHOUT total control of half the world! Try to work with another! Get new ideas for game play. Experience the game in a whole different way.
