lionel-v-mike-g40-british-2.tsvgA few questions:
- I saw that the Chinese met some national objective and got ext PU’s. What was the objective?
- Battle in sea zone 96: why do the Italians receive a first strike? …shouldn’t the presence of the British destroyer nullify that?
- In that same battle: why can the subs fire a second time in the same round, as they already had a first strike?
-
lionel v mike g40 FRANZ 1.tsvg you can check objectives by clicking objective box upper right side of screen. #1 Chinese get 6 PU bonus if own India Burma Yunnan Szechwan at end of turn. Also get to purchase artillery if they own same four at start of turn. this is an important objective and most players attack Yunnan with either 3-4 land units and four planes round 1. #2 did not verify but I guess that may have not been a first strike. the software may roll subs separate because they can not hit planes. #3 do not believe the sub rolled in the second round. there was a destroyer that rolled at two.

Until one week ago I had no idea wat TripleA was and had only played the 1984 boardgame version.
With ‘objectives’ added to it, the learning curve keeps becoming still more steep.
I hope you don’t mind having to play against a beginner like me. Do feel free to tell me.
In the meantime here’s my next move.

lionel v mike g40 RUSSIA 2.tsvg no problem playing you. I have a lot of free time. people have helped me and are still helping me. just hope your enjoyment not being ruined by trying to absorb this much info etc. in a short time.

You’re correct it’s quite a challenge. But it’s the only way to learn the game, I guess.
I’m not sure if I’ll have more time today (19.30hrs over here)
