I’m starting a club, Dice Whiners Anonymous, membership will be exclusive to those with a -75 or higher expected TUV swing. Would you like to know more?
We’ll share spicy memes, AI videos, and occasionally, incorrigible strategies that will inevitably be upset by (probably) slight variations from average dice. And anything over a +1 or -1 from average is to be lamented with wailing and gnashing of teeth 😅😂

@axis-dominion I was looking at your game against Adam and I was surprised you liberated France on round 11, is that because you couldn’t hold Southern France, so you might as well get a little more money from the NO? Just curious. I can’t remember the last time I saw France liberated without trying to hold it.

yeah it was just to get some extra cash, i wasn’t able to hold it. i figured either he’d retake s.fra to get money back or leave it blue in which case he denies himself the money as well. was able to cash in on france bonus again, so that’s twice. after i did it, however, i realized it’s kinda a wash as i lose 4 points of territories turning blue.
more importantly, it’s fun :)

one other thing, is it cost him at least 2 extra inf to take it back. very minor in the large scheme of things, but still. cuz who knows if i’ll ever get to actually liberating france for real.

I was gonna say, the 4 infantry can be a significant factor. Took out 3 German units? Crazy

actually there ended being one other important factor… when i evacuated i had to leave behind the 6 british units, which could’ve easily been smashed to pieces. but because he wanted to keep the territory blue to deny me a future fac, they were spared and i was able to go back for them the next turn.

@axis-dominion @mikawagunichi @Stucifer I laughed out loud reading this - I had some crazy luck against Mikawa, but was suffering hard against Stucifer this game until the last battle in east Med. Wow, that was a bloodbath.

@peirce 😄 It’s hard to communicate the jest/playful tone sometimes over text so please understand I am poking a little fun at our selective misfortunes at your (MARTI’s) hands. I got some brutal dice in our game with Japan so Germany was due for some mean reversion. 💀

@gamerman01 I think one per major dicing is appropriate…and now we know I’m not the only victim!
The site is call Parrot AI…I got a lifetime subscription like 2 years ago for $20 or something…then the site became useless for a while because they sped up the default playback speed and it still sounded terrible if you slowed it down manually, but now it’s back to pretty good quality.
