This situation popped up today. My friend had a transport with an infantry and an AA gun ready to attack the Philippines. The AA gun can’t perform combat, so does he just offload the infantry during the combat move then the AA gun during the noncombat? Just in general, does a transport have to offload all its units into one territory during either the combat or noncombat move? For instance, could a transport load two units, move one space for an amphibious assault, drop off one unit in the assault, then move one more space for noncombat and drop off the other unit in a friendly territory? Or, could it drop off each of its units in a separate territory if the seazone it was in was adjacent to both, for instance, sz 20, Kiangsi and Kwantung? Can a transport pick up a second unit after it dropped off its first one?

As I read the rules, AA-guns can only move during non-combat, so in this case the tranny offloads one infantry during amphibious assault, and then have to wait until next turn to offload the AA-gun, right ?
