Have a great time guys .

Hi Dave,
The 7th Northern Europe A&A Wiking Con is scheduled for Early 2026 and the 8th Northern Europe A&A Wiking Con is scheduled for Late 2026.
Both Wiking Cons are planned only to include Axis & Allies Global 1940 in conjunction with the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion (aka G40 HRE).
You are certainly most welcome to join us here in Denmark for these events.
We are not able to plan for an Anniversary Tournament, since all players are busy training with the G40 HRE.
We are working on a version of the G40 HRE to be compatible with the Anniversary Edition.
We expect to be able to release this version (Anniversary Expansion) in 2026.
We have a play testing group of highly experienced Axis & Allies players who started play testing the Anniversary Expansion back in 2024. -
@The-Captain When is the 6th Northern European A & A Wiking-Con?
-
The 6th Northern Europe A & A Wiking Con is scheduled to begin in Late 2025 (Late October or Early November) from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon.
All games that are played during this tournament is Global 1940 in conjunction with the Axis & Allies Global 1940 HRE Tournament Rules.
For players who participate for the first and second time, a limited number of the HRE rules are used, to make the game more managable.
Please remember:
The Danish Axis & Allies Foundation will refund parts of the travel costs for players outside Continental Europe. -
@The-Captain Where in Denmark?
-
Our Axis & Allies HQ is in a town called Næstved (Naestved) 65 kilometers south of Copenhagen.
All Tournaments are held in HQ.
It is 45 minutes by train, which goes directly from the Copenhagen International Airport to our HQ location.
If you want to join us, I will coordinate with our Axis & Allies members from Holland, so they can meet up with you in the Copenhagen International Airport and join you in the train as well.
We will pick up all of you at the train station in Næstved.
HQ is 1 kilometer from the train station.

I looked at my schedule and I don’t think I can fit in this nor Battle of Britain.
However, there is always next year. If you and @Private-Panic can coordinate dates for late Winter or early Spring, that would be helpful. That is, hold Battle of Britain on one weekend and Wiking Con on the following weekend.
Thoughts?
Nov. 7-9 is out because of BGN Battlefront Dayton.
Oct. 17-19 is out because I’m attending a high school reunion.
Oct. 26 and Nov. 1 could potentially work for me.

I am certainly happy to give this a try. I am away this week, but will liaise with The Captain when I get back.

The 6th Northen European A & A Wiking Con is scheduled to begin in Friday 31. October 2025 19.00 CET and end Sunday 2nd November 2025 16.00 CET.

@The-Captain @Private-Panic I think we’re now looking at the dates for the 7th in 2026 to coordinate with the Battle of Britain.

Hi Dave,
That’s great. This will also give more time to study the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.
Please note:
The Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion is also available on TripleA.barnee has created this TripleA version, so he is able to guide you. After studing the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion rulebook, most players start training on TripleA before playing Face-to-Face on the game board.

The BoB is a one day event, which is always on a Sunday. No dates are set beyond our next event on 28 September, as I organise them one at a time. That means I am very flexible and am happy to agree a Sunday that fits with The Captain, and with djensen too of course, subject only to our venue’s availability, my diary and UK public holidays that might reduce attendance.
@djensen - should the BoB be on the same Sunday as the concluding day of The Captain’s event (assuming it is always Friday to Sunday?) or on the previous or following Sunday?
