L25 PTV Peirce (X+8) vs Nikola1975 (L)

  • @nikola1975 I also just re-created the combat move from Japan so that you can see what I’ve done, here, in case it’s the combat phase that is throwing off your engine.

Let me know what order of losses you want, and I’ll input. You’ll be able to see the dice rolls through Marti, and I will post after each round of combat. Sound good?

  • @peirce Ok. I was not able to load the saves that you sent above, but this autosave worked.

So I understand I need to select 11 casualties?

    1. Damage US battleship (1)
    2. Damage 5 US carriers (6)
    3. Sink 3 US subs (9)
    4. Sink 2 US carriers (11)

  • @nikola1975 Ahh, that went extremely poorly all around. Very well played, Nikola - I’m going to concede. Will post now - rematch, same terms?

  • @peirce Fair enough. Thanks for this game.

I did not expect you to attack here, but I guess it was win or concede decision?

Yes, I would love to play one more. You want to switch sides with the same handicap?

  • P peirce referenced this topic on

  • @nikola1975 After the devastating Malta battles for Italy, brutal sz99 by Germ (and the resulting inability to protect N. Caucasus properly, which you capitalized on perfectly), this was a hail mary. Figured that if I got the 12 hits the odds gave me, you’d be forced to lose a good chunk of your US fleet, while I took 4/11 of the knocks on my carriers. My 11 and your 13 threw that out the window, and then the following 10 vs 12 was the final nail in the coffin.

Cool if I take Axis again? I’d like the chance to learn from my mistakes, if I can!

  • @peirce Sure, let’s do it.
