@Stucifer Both Normandy and S. France are not displaying all the units present. The tank + 3 aircraft are missing in S. France and al the British units are not showing in Normandy. I’m guessing this has been happening all the time and I just didn’t notice.
Is this a known bug in PTV?
I do see the entire list of units if I mouse over it and look at the units list at the bottom of the page. Or using battle calculator–which is where I noticed this “feature” this time. I was about to attack and got a surprise that there were many more units than I saw!

@Stucifer Actually, it was a problem with looking at history and going back to “current” game. PTV has always had a problem refreshing the screen when reloading from history. Not sure why.

@surfer Yeah this happens to me especially in PTV, but sometimes with BM/OOB. I believe it is due to the way TripleA memory usage is coded. I get the “Java heap space” error somewhat regularly if I have more than one copy of the application open too, and soemtimes it doesn’t close properly so I end up killing it with task manager…

It definitely takes a very concentrated effort. The more I play PtV the more it feels like Germany being active in the Med and getting Italy at least a couple NOs, trying to hold Gib as long as possible from US, is a better plan. US can get over and threaten Norway/Denmark/W Germany without holding Gib, but it’s more difficult.
Would actually be good to try and find high-level games where Germany took Moscow. I personally end up pushing for Stalingrad & Caucasus due to the difficulty of taking Moscow in PTV.
