    You did but they flipped to the Axis with Vichy and then you killed them. I use my sz98 TT to land the inf and AA from Malta onto S France.

    This was confusing. What you might have said is: "No, because Vichy already happened and all French troops are now Axis Neutral. You will have to kill them like all enemy combatants but have an added bonus of taking over their territory and receiving their ipc value. If I had known that I would have attack the Algerian soldier.

    This was a question. I would have liberated the territory from the Axis friendly French guy if I had the chance.

    They are enemy territories now, you have to do it on combat move.
