@gen-manstein yea i’d almost go at it the other way and make the CAs and fast BBs go 3. But that will create it’s own issues. Besides 19 knots is over 20 mph anyway
G40 Heavy Aircraft Carrier unit

@The-Captain looking forward, to the mighty ships 💪🏻
-
ahh I thought initially a Ftr but it’s the CV itself. Lets load those Ftr Aces on it and see how those sneak attackers like that lol
-
heh heh

Exciting!

@The-Captain Hello there Cap. Any update on this topic. Heavy Carriers sound very interesting
-
The Largest Carriers were called “Fleet Carriers”
-
Thanks for your comment.
True - Fleet Carriers were the largest of the Aircraft Carriers.
For Game Play Reasons we decided to name them Heavy Aircraft Carrier units - in the same way as we developed the rules for Super Heavy Battleship units.
-
-
The Heavy Aircraft Carrier rules are now added to the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion thread - see page 1, additional rule No. 17.

Hi Captain
What is a Tank Buster & Ground Attack unit. Is that a future unit or a retired one ?
Edit
Just to clarify, Allied Bmbrs can also use the Heavy CV ? Same as Ftrs and Tacs ?Edit 2
Air Commanders can activate a Air Fleet as well then. Is that correct ? While on a Hvy CV ?Edit 3
They cannot
Edit 4
lol sorry :) Can an Air Fleet then Defend on a Heavy CV ?Edit 5
Obviously my reading retention skills w/e that is lol are not very good.
No Air Commanders on “Heavy Aircraft Carrier” but the AC is allowed on normal CVs ? Air Commander operates under Ftr rules though. So hmm … :)Thanks

- A Heavy Aircraft Carrier operates under Aircraft Carrier rules - with the exceptions mentioned in the rules.
So yes - air units from a Nation allied to the owner of the Heavy Aircraft Carrier unit can land on and take off from the Heavy Aircraft Carrier unit.
- The rules for Tank Buster & Ground Attack Air Unit are not yet fully play tested - we expect to be able to release these rules no later than 16th December this year.

Hi Panzer,
A Heavy Aircraft Carrier unit must be undamaged in order to carry any air units.
