Hmm, interesting. Thought you’d blast through the Middle East instead of that. Then that is what the airbase was for.
My original idea was to quickly push into the Middle East but the UK has a lot of units there already, and the Red Army will cut in behind the mechanised spearhead before the slow movers can protect that flank. I think I missed an opportunity to simultaneous push into that region with the Italians, Germans and Japanese.
