Greetings all! My name is Rob and I am from Suffolk County, NY. Looking for people to play with in person. My favorite version of the game is Global 1940 2nd ed. That being said I have recently expanded beyond 1942 on Steam (mostly thanks to TripleA).

I am amenable to a few hours travel to play, as well as offering to host (later this year as I have a baby arriving soon). I see there are a few people in upstate NY here, hopefully some closer! Would love to join you all in person!

There’s a half dozen or so of us that play on triplea and The Captain’s Group from Denmark has over 100 members for in person play.

Although Long Island is closer than most of the US to Denmark, probably still too far to tarvel for a weekend game :)

Hello! I am “re-introducing,” first became a member back in 2009, I am uncertain when I began playing A&A, early 1980’s, still have the Nova though mainly just used when I take pics of minis. I had completely tricked out/detailed the A&A50th some years after its release - so that it was mobile as I worked for months at a time abroad. The set took major causalities about 12 years ago, half destroyed and many pieces MIA. But we can rebuild, stronger, faster - I have almost completed redoing the set, this time with a custom map and new customizations! Can you tell I’m enthusiastic about it? eh eh eh In the distant past I had done commissions for museums and some gaming companies - started to post my A&A anniversary set here, but I reached my limit before even completing the infantry - but a few good G.I.'s were able to get a foothold. Had planned to post others.

Situated and taken up residence some years ago - now room for a larger map and have gathered the armies that were stored here and there. And - recovered my login here, good stuff.

PS: Oh -that’s my late father as my profile photo, WWII tanker, Sherman.

@djensen my name is Tony from Ohio. I have been playing A&A for around 4 years. I absolutely love it. I really enjoy playing 1940 Europe or the 1940 Global. Just bought NA and I am hooked. I’m on the online game through the mobile app under Comrade Short almost daily. I play the physical game every 1-2 months with the guy who taught me to play. He painted the Italians cardinal red and China yellow. For House Rules. I’ve played with different IPC value and created a Fast Fleet Oiler that allows Sea units to travel 3 spaces. Hope to meet some fellow combatants who love this great game!

I live in Ypres (WW1 battlefield) and I was a guide for WW1 for 20 years.

Ypres is close to Dunkirk (France).
