No only minus 2. So if the IPC value of surronding territories was 6 the sub would only subract 2 IPC. It would take 3 subs (2x3) to subtract all 6 IPC. Now if there were 4 subs in the sea zone (2x4=8) the nation would only lose 6 IPC because the value of the territories only equal 6.

The Dutch West Indies are actually in the Caribbean. A more accurate name would be Melanesia, although Melanesia also includes New Hebrides and Fiji. Perhaps “Western Melanesia” or “Greater Melanesia” would work?
Great work krieg. I knew that “Dutch West Indies” was technically incorrect but I couldn’t think of a better name. After looking at a map of Melanesia I will update the cards to say “Western Melanesia” since this is geographically correct.

That’s probably my fault. I called it DWI in my custom NPC because I needed a quickie acronym to fit in the graphic. Originally, I was just planning on using the chart myself, but then decided to upload it for other folks. I knew it made no sense to call it “west” indies since they’re east of the east indies, but originally I wasnt overly concerned about naming accuracy since it was just supposed to be for personal use.

bob, looking for something about maybe the size of 4-6 kamakazi markers that can take the place of large groups of surface ships for all parties involved. right now we just write numbers on the backs of the round country markers, but that’s a little ghetto :)

Thanks to everyone who helped me find the errors. If you notice any other errors please let me know so i can fix them.
I am now working on creating the diplomacy/setup cards for each nation. These will take longer than the previous charts that i worked on so be patient. I expect to be done in a few days.

Bob, the battle board is stunning!! Is Causality (an actual word in Physics and relates to cause & affect) going to be changed to Casualty (a person who is killed or injured)? If so, I will wait until you post the corrected file before I have it laminated. Thanks again for an excellent piece of work.

That error has already been fixed. Go to the first entry on this thread (page 1) to download the new updated battleboard. (Actually all three charts have been updated. The National Production & National Objectives charts now refer to “Dutch East Indies” as “Western Melanesia” since that is the correct geographical name for this area. Thanks krieg)

Hi Bob,
Thanks for an amazing job! I printed everything out last night on glossy photo paper. I’m working on mounting it to some black foamcore using a spray adhesive today. I’ll get some pics up when I’m done. So far, the boards look awesome!

Here’s a sneak peak at the new Diplomacy & Nation Specific Rule Charts.
The final version will be designed to fit inside the lid of the piece boxes so they measure 3.4" x 11.5" which means that they will need to be printed off on LEGAL SIZED PAPER (8.5" x 14"). Whenever possible I kept the wording of these rules the same as Krieg’s Unofficial Errata, However some changes (not affecting game play) were made to keep the cards as concise as possible.
Originally I intended to combine this card with a Setup & Unit Stats card, but there simply wasn’t enough room. Right now ANZAC’s and USA’s cards have the setup corrections printed on them also. Since I’m not entirely happy with this compromise I may end up creating a reverse side for these charts with Setup & Unit Stats printed on them. If I create a reverse side for these cards, ANZAC’s and USA’s cards will be changed to omit the setup corrections since the correct setup will be printed on the reverse side of the Diplomacy & Nation Specific Rule Charts.
I would appreciate it if some of you look over these cards to make sure that they are clear and free of typos and let me know what you think. These are not intended to be the final version.
