@pacifiersboard Just want to say I noted that this version may have a bug in the NOs. It says the Russians will get 2IPCs for Archangel this turn. But they shouldn’t until next turn. Please check after your turn is over and edit as necessary.
If it does give you 2 iPCs, I guess we should tell the game designers.
@pacifiersboard Ok. Who wrote this version of the game? The notes attribute Bung and Veqryn but that could just be a general attribution. Would like to file bug reports

I edited the NO income and posted in the Map thread … shall we take effort to transfer our game to usual map?
@pacifiersboard i think we are fine. The NO will be active next round. And edit to transport marine is inconvenient, but small effort compared to edit new game.
Plus we will further play test the map which helps the designers.

Just a heads up. I have the fix figured. Be a hour or two before it’s up. Unfortunately, it’s a xml fix, so it won’t work with your current save.
This is the first BM game I’m aware of being played on UHD. Cool you checking it out :) Anyway, if you do continue on, keep an eye out for any other errors :) Feeling pretty solid about it now though.
One thing I might do, is look for a more badass looking Marine. That can be added at any time though, so not a huge deal there. And people can add there own as well :)

Fix is up. If using prerlease you may need to uninstall and then install. Idk how triplea rolls with that these days.
Most likely though, it’ll go to 100% and then back to 0% 3 times before it finishes on the install.

I’m updating your save with current now. Just finished G. It takes the longest, so probably another hour or so.
You’ll wanna double check obviously but I’m going move by move, getta see how you guys play that way :) so hopefully it comes through clean.

heh heh Glad you wanna play on but I did find some more issues with Marine loading thing. All of the land units needed to be triggered as well as the Trprt for BM Rules. My bad :(

@barnee Thanks for rebuilding our game. I downloaded the new version, and the marine now loads as expected.
Just one item that is problematic and this is probably self-inflicted pain.
The new map + new icons was a bit much for play first time. I have to spend a lot of time ensuring I know what all the units are since they look different and with the new map are placed differently.
All fine, but @pacifiersboard and I decided to use the G40 icons, and updated the map/units folder to copy the G40. I did that again after downloading the new game. I would have expected that when I run the new game, I would see the G40 icons. Surprisingly, the new UHD icons are used. I really would have thought the engine used the map folder for the icons, but does the “save game” store a copy, and that becomes default–that would be surprising redundancy of save space since it would happen for every game?
If not, where are these icon images coming from?
I have checked that the map/units folders on G40 and UHD are identical (a diff of the two folders shows no differences).
Any suggestions?
@barnee Ok. NVM…I guess I had re-re overwritten the units directory when I tried reloading. It works as expected now with the G40 icons
Right on. Yea, it took me 2-3 games to get comfortable with the new units. I really like them now though :)
