NML 1914 team game 16

@FMErwinRommel Britain isn’t bothered that France has fallen .
Have you not read how, in 1914. the French and British commanders didn’t respect each other , hardly even talked strategy , actually? Both believed the other was useless.
Much like like Von Kluck and Von Bulow! -
Hello all. FM invited me to introduce myself in advance of the next possible game of NML. I’ve only played this map against the computer, so I don’t have any input about the balance changes etc. that you’ve been mentioning. I’m open to playing any power, but with the little experience I have, you probably don’t want to put me on a critical power. Thanks for the invite, and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Ahhh! Now I know!

Also, I never said the game was well balanced. But I think the problem is to deep within the setting itself. The actual conflict was stale and boring! No grand maneuvers or essential battles.
They rather blew up mountains back in the day rather than relying on strategy or tactics, for crying out loud.
I believe we cannot fix it with any means which do not destroy your holy “historical accuracy” as well! :-P -
@Elrood i’ll play in the next one. please

BTW, I didn’t roll forum dice correctly on G5 for sz73 battle. I typed dice 1d2 for G sub, which was its attack power, and 1d4 for UK cruiser which was its defense power. Should have been 1d6 for six-sided dice.
G sub [1d6]
UK cruiser [1d6] -
G sub [dice 1d6]
UK cruiser [dice 1d6] -
1d6: 2
1d6: 4 -
Not that it matters, but I wanted to set the record straight. Turns out, the same results, the G sub sank the UK cruiser.

@FMErwinRommel thanks for rolling for us .
I did think you had misrolled that Sub sneak , but kept my trap shut , as it was Game Over .I will take Turkey and conquer all of the ME , whilst my worthless Commies embarrass a sick, ageing , Russian Empire.

@Witt I wouldn’t have minded to see how situation around Alps and Greece unfolds… I did some unusual moves and wanted to see what they merit (can I say it like this? uncertain), but sure… once Paris falls it is hard to play on.
