The dice did deliver you a 33% result in the big air/fleet battle, so I won’t feel QUITE as bad, but the China J1 dice were just devastating.
So if you go to view -> show comment log, you will see that players can enter notes that are kept.
Since I learned last year in my re-entry to Classic about the whole limited units available thing.The_Good_Captain tells me the goal is to implement a feature into TripleA that will track the remaining units (not an issue at all if you’re playing on a board with no missing pieces!) in a year.
Until then, I think game notes is definitely the way to go.
If you buy an AA or IC, enter a comment that updates the count.
This way we can also watch out for bombers and carriers, especially, as well.Watch out, there’s only 1 IC left!

I used to be indignant, years ago, when some would refer (online) to Axis and Allies as a “beer and pretzels game”. Well I don’t remember what version they were referring to, but I see they have a good point if it’s Classic.
It’s great, compared to the much more complicated versions, Classic kind of forces you to just have fun. @The_Good_Captain

@VictoryFirst @gamerman01 outside of AA guns and industrial complexes, you can have an infinities amount of any unit type - you just can’t break them into more groups than there are pieces. For example: there are only three bombers available for each power. The USA can have 8 bombers on the board - they just can’t be in more than three groups at any given time. They cannot break into more than three groups to make attacks, etc.
Hopefully that makes sense.
