Thanks for the feedback. Most of the rules for the game were crowd sourced from those actually playing an axis and allies style game. The game was never intended to be a historically accurate representation of the American civil war…as are the axis and allies WW2 games. They are themed games. You are welcome to try it out on Steam tabletop simulator if you have it before casting any kind of judgement. It really is a fun game that challenge players. If you want more historically accurate games, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

Has anyone seen or came up with their own way of quickly logging or tracking the status of the board during a game? So if one does not have the time to finish a game as well as the space to leave the board setup for the next session how can we record the status of the game to easily pickup the next session. Thank you all for any ideas you may have.

Some people take pictures. I suppose you could do a short video, so you can add some comments for income level, game rd etc… or just add that in a text to yourself.

I usually just snap a quick photo of the board with my phone before packing up. It makes it easy to pick up where we left off.
