Good luck, and have fun! And as you said a few years back: May the best German win ;-)
The best of luck to you too, may the best Anglo-Saxon win ;-)
Germany Turn 4 Combat Complete D-Day Game 29.tsvg
I made a mistake last turn when moving German reinforcements and accidentally ended up with 1 more tank than neccessary instead of an artillery. I switched it at the beginning of the turn. I believe little impact was made on the game.
A4 Reinforcements:
USA [dice 2d6]
UK [dice 2d6]
2d6: 5, 4
2d6: 5, 3
Rennes/Chartres reinforcements: [dice 2d6]
Rouen/Chartres reinforcements: [dice 2d6]
2d6: 2, 2
2d6: 3, 5
The 8th Werfer Brigade (1 infantry, 1 artillery) and 2 infantry from the 353rd Infantry Division move into G36. The 1st SS Panzer Division Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler (3 tanks, 1 infantry, 1 artillery) moves into G40. 1 artillery from the 17th SS Panzergreandier Division Götz von Berlichingen and 1 artillery form the 86th Corps move into G34.
Oh shoot, I forgot to roll for the other fighter strafing German units in A37.
Rolling for the 3 tanks:
[dice 3d6]
3d6: 4, 1, 5
Also just realized that it wasn’t 3 tanks surviving the first strafe, it was 2 tanks and 1 artillery.
Either way the Germans get one less hit on the Allies (unhappily) and they end up with 1 less tank than in the original file.
Corrected file:
2d6: 6, 5
Rennes/Chartres reinforcements: [dice 2d6]
Rouen/Chartres reinforcements: [dice 2d6]
2d6: 3, 4
2d6: 1, 3
1 infantry and 1 artillery from the 353rd Infantry Division and 2 tanks from the 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich move into G36. The 266th Infantry Division (2 infantry, 1 artillery) moves into G34.
