    @Panther Could you please help us with this? I am consistently getting Java Heap Space errors when booting up big maps several times consecutively (that is, starting a game, then leaving a game wihtout exiting the program and then starting it again).

    I often do this when playing by email when I messed up something and don’t want to have undo or edit everything.

    I tried to change triplea.vmoptions but it says I don’t have the rights to change the file while I am administrator…

    In the future please ask questions like this in the TripleA support category.

    Looks like you have installed TripleA into a directory blocked by your OS.
    Your are on a correct way to increase XMS and XMX inside that file.
    What OS are you running?

    Better update to 2.7.prerelease, as RAM-management is flexible there, so no need to further deal with the vmoptions file.

    yea the LMs ovelap a bit. The other units that place there seem ok. I guess I could bump it back 5-10 without messing anything else up

    Yea the resources are tracked now in the sidebar. It might be helpful to place the LL image in a box and then you can move it as needed.

    You’d still have to use edit. Might be a little easier to click n drag as opposed to add units :) Would have another reference point for how many have been used also

    I’d really like to ad “The Captain’s” above World War II in the name. I’m not sure how todo it though. I checked the baseTiles and reliefs when trying to fix Afghan/sikang and saw where it was but was confusing to me.

    Problem we have though, is Elk “painted” it in. So it’s not a name that can change like the other boxes in misc folder.

    I’m not sure how to do that either :) but this a big step in the right direction. RightArm.png

    I need to reread his map guide. I think it’s part of the relief. Actually, I’ll just have to ask him directly, as I know there’s little chance I figure it out on my own lol

    I believe I can break up my new image into three parts to make tiles of 256x256 and then replace the old relief tiles with the new ones.

    Just noticed Heavy Bombers can be targeted by AA. I believe you can fix this by specifying the targets of the AA and including all fighter units except Heavy Bombers.

    I will also take a look at the Takeover of Italy. If you could perhaps give me Github access, I could upload my changes… 😀
