Good point, you choose casualties before rolling defense. And likely even with my bad attack rolls you would’ve played it safe, and chosen the slightly more valuable but worse defenders the cruisers first. Having no idea how bad or good your defensive rolls would be.

yeah it was a good result for the axis. I figured one fighter is not a lot to lose and it is low risk for the possibility of taking out a bomber. But it didn’t work out that way.

Well, at least the french liberation force can only happen once per game. I think this better for me than if they spawned with a huge British and American stack.
Those 4 hits were brutal though. I thought I was overcompensating with 4 land units.

@Hythem You do get them over with. But my reason for doing that is that the units you use to attack them, are delayed in moving East. I got quite lucky with that roll though.
