@mike64 I had edited that tank out of Denmark on Japan’s turn, but it’s back in Denmark. When I do Germany I’m going to edit back to W Germany.

Alright, this is a German victory. It was a super close game though. You played very well as the Allies. I think this game must be heavily imbalanced in favor of the Germans. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have won two games against a much more experienced player than me. I didn’t do anything special except move troops forward. The Allies are a lot harder to manage because they have to attack in three directions, and therefore plan their attacks to a much higher degree.
I also think victory in this game is much more dependent on dice than in other versions. When you get diced, you can often still win the game due to a superior strategy, but this game mostly depends on battles and winning them. So if you get diced, I can see no way of beating your opponent. At least that’s my take.
Thank you very much for playing, I enjoyed it a lot. Let me know if you feel like to play another one. I think I can play as the Allies now :)
I noticed your Allied strategic video dropped, awesome! 😀

@VictoryFirst yeah its pretty tough as the Allies. They are vulnerable to bad reinforcement rolls and if they don’t collect about 100 strafe rolls, they’re in trouble bc there’s not enough time.
You played well especially at the end by giving up space for time and only fighting in the city. Allies almost had it though! Did you want to give the Allies a try?

Yeah I did that move at the end because I watched your Germany strategic video, where you pointed out that the Germans could retreat a bit and then attack at full strength on the 9th turn and still win because they have one or more units remaining in the cities. It was indeed a very close game! I probably should not have attacked you that much on the beachheads. My forces were eliminated very quickly and your Americans had then free rein to move out of the beachheads.
Sure, I would love to play another, this time as the Allies!
