@mike64 I had edited that tank out of Denmark on Japan’s turn, but it’s back in Denmark. When I do Germany I’m going to edit back to W Germany.

casualty selection? the other two battles were fought and only st lo remains here. The reason I ask is bc to add new pieces in means running through three fighters first. anyway, how would you like them?

I messed some things up. I should have rolled three air strikes for my units that moved to St. Lo, but I completely forgot. I will reroll the battle by hand and edit the results back in.

Looks like only the infantry died. What we could do is reroll the entire battle, or we could assume the infantry that died was the one that scored a hit. So the only thing that would change is that you would get one casualty less.

@VictoryFirst I’ve had this occur in several other games of TripleA and my preference is to ignore the “extra” dice at the tail end of the row. In this case, since only one infantry was present, we count the first dice and ignore the second (since it was not present).
I used to roll a die to see what hit would be ignored but realized this was biased in favor of whoever rolled the extra dice - in other words, over-rolling sometimes caused this “check” die to be rolled when it otherwise shouldn’t.
So my preference is to ignore the 2nd dice which was the hit. This would be my preference for any situation like this going forward.
