    Yeah I believe ANZAC should get an extra buck as well. It got -1 because it lost Formosa.

    Looking at the Japanese turn and you forgot to land the tactical bomber in Yunnan lol, so it got eliminated.

    I was doing a test round of the American turn and it looks like my subs have first strike in the battle of SZ 6, even though you have a defending escort.

    How should we fix this? Should we roll manually or am I missing something?

    Yeah just checked again and my subs have first strike for sure. Weird, because it says in the unit help that escorts have Anti-Stealth

    Actually, never mind. During the battle it looked like the casualties from the subs were immediately removed, but according to the history, they did get to roll.

    So I guess nothing was wrong after all lol. Sorry, false alarm!

    Well islands are still fckd up. GD it. So ANZAC takes Formosa, they get a buck. They lose it, they no longer get the buck, that is the negative. Shouldn’t also get a another -1 on top of it and JPN gets the buck back, which is basically a minus 1 for losing it and plus 1 for getting it back that cancel each other out. So for JPN, it would be zero.

    So only the Dutch islands are worth anything to everyone. Otherwise, just your enemy gets the bonus.

    Well I believe they function as normal territories, so if you take them over your income goes up by that new amount, and your opponent’s one goes down by the same amount. The only different thing is that the starting income for each nation doesn’t change. So essentially you could dust the old IPC values and replace them with the new ones, but you give a negative bonus to the nations to make sure their starting income doesn’t change.

    So for example if all Japanese islands have the new IPC value from The Captain, Japan will have a total income of 35. But then you give them a negative bonus of -9 so that their starting income is 26. Once islands start getting captured, it will always work correctly. For example if Japan loses Formosa to ANZAC, their income goes down by 2, while ANZACs goes up by 2, according to the rules.

    This might be easier than giving each powers numerous positive and negative bonuses for each island because that might become really complex 😀
