@Elrood Something crazy happened when the game was saved. When you open the save game, Italy will start in edit mode, so just close edit mode. When I look in history, it shows edit was turned on near end of NCM and never turned off, even though it wasn’t in edit mode when I placed my builds and ended my turn.

@Elrood Sorry to disappoint you, but this game won’t last long and I’m only in one other game, our team game, which isn’t likely to switch. So, I’ll wait to see how the new release progresses…

You can run both versions parallel. I installed it the new one but said to windows it should not assign the savefiles to this new version (you get asked)
That means the old version still auto opens when I click on a downloaded savegame.
If I want to start the Pre release version and open a savegame with it, I need to do it manually by starting the new triples and then „load game“
