I recall reading somewhere that a kamikaze attack on a CA or BB does not prevent a passenger marine from landing. If this is an accurate memory, what happens to the marine if its home vessel is sunk? Can it still land or does it go down with the home vessel?
My assumption so far was that a kamikaze strike on a BB/CR that sinks the ship will also destroy the marine - but probably just bc it sounds logical to me.
Maybe there is any clarification here in the forums.

I agree that logically sinking the CA or BB that carries a marine would kill the marine and prevent his landing. However, the AA rules sometimes seem to have their own logic not evident to me.
I tried looking on the Forum but the search word ‘kamikaze’ did produce a promising results, and Ido not have the time to search endlessly.
