I dont think a bid is necessary, especially not in a europe game. Perhaps in Global there might be a bid necessary. Perhaps in the future we can use a bid, but lets see how things progress for now.
I dont mind playing either side, but prefer to start of with Allies. Its been a while since I played someone in this game, especially with the Allies.

Btw, OOL (order of loss) depends on land or sea battle, and on how many hits you have got. So please ask about them, Ill do the same.

To be fair though, there is usually a very logical order of loss for most battles. Let me know if you would like more information about this.
Generally speaking I’ll only ask about them if it the battle is more complicated than usual.
If you found any order of losses not to your liking after I posted the game, I’ll be happy to redo the battle.

I agree with you that generally speaking the OOL is logical, but sometimes if there are subs involved its better to keep the destroyer then a cruiser in for example sz111. Another example is a battle on land where there are bombers present, they defend on 1 and normally you would choose the lowest dice to be lost first, but in this case its the most expensive. But when you send the map, with attacks, Ill most likely can tell what I prefer to be the OOL.
So I hope you will give me the opportunity to decide my OOL in certain battles, Ill do the same for you.
