Yeah I was thinking that too but sometimes it’s better to counter-attack because you make your enemy’s units dispersed. If you defend with all your units in one spot your enemy can concentrate their forces. But other times it’s better to preserve your strength. I actually want to run down the math of that sometime, because that dilemma comes up a lot and I really want to know which option is better 😂

@VictoryFirst that is true, but you will see that this mod we play prefers the defending role to a crazy degree.
- there is no real Air Force to help in sorties at the border
- trenches are cheap and swiftly build
- there is the hv art which defends at 4 or even 5
- there is no unit like the trusty tank with attack 3 and move 2
